For 100 years, the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health has been a global leader in advancing education, research, and practice to prevent disease and disability and improve the health of entire populations. The school’s vision is a healthy and just world for everyone. The school’s mission is to educate the next generation of public health leaders, conduct groundbreaking discovery, and deliver solutions to protect and improve health of people everywhere.

Columbia Public Health is an annual magazine published by Columbia’s Mailman School, highlighting its advances in research and scholarship and celebrating its faculty and students.

The magazine’s inaugural issue was designed and art directed cover-to-cover, right alongside creation of the publication’s underlying grid, typography, and section formats. The comprehensive template was provided to the school’s in-house design team to carry forward.
